TWISTED ENDING
I got to watch Drag Me to Hell last two weeks ago because I was intrigued by the teaser. Ok fine-I'm not really intrigued but sort of bothered by the plot. I can relate to Christine Brown (Lohman) in the movie because I also work in a housing financing agency. We also send demand letters and eventually-notice to vacate to delinquent borrowers. Sounds cruel huh? but unlike Christine- I am sending the notices because my job requires me to and I am not aiming for any promotion in our company.
Anyways, during the movie I was totally grossed and frightened with the terrifying scenes with the old lady. Damn her! she's really weird in the movie. What I like in the movie is the unique twist in the ending. Yah I know some of the moviegoers were frustrated but I liked it's uniqueness. Last time I watched a movie with a unique ending (I think was 2 or 3 years ago) was The Skeleton Key.
It's not from Sam Raimi but I think Skeleton Key by Iain Softley is far better than Drag Me to Hell. You can't guess the twisted ending. I recommend both movies because you will really feel betrayed just like the main character.hahahaha.
